2008 Buffalo Creek Half Marathon Course

Our course is fast, with a gentle downhill, the majority of the course is
on the Butler-Freeport Community Trail, a very scenic Rails-to-Trails
project with a smooth surface of crushed limestone.
(First 1.7 miles, mile nine and last half mile has a paved blacktop surface)

Marked miles. Verbal Times at 1, 5 and 10 miles. RFID Chip Timing System.
Course is USATF Certified and has water stations and medical support.
Post race awards ceremony, food and drink at Riverside Park, Freeport.

Early registrants (prior to Oct 6) are guaranteed a technical (not cotton) short-sleeve race shirt.
$200 cash prize for new male and female course record

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup 7:00am to 8:30 am ONLY
in the registration area at the Lernerville Speedway parking lot.

Starting area is at Winfield Twp Bldg, 194 Brose Rd, Cabot, PA 16023
No registration will take place at the starting area.

All entrants must park at Lernerville Speedway,
313 N. Pike Road (Rt 356), Sarver, Pa 16055.

A shuttle will be provided to the starting area and
also back to the parking area after the race.
The shuttle will run 7:00am to 8:30am only.
Gear will be transported from the start to the finish area.

Directions to parking area: From Pittsburgh travel Rt 28N to Exit 17 (Rt 356).
Take Rt 356 North and turn right at Lernerville Speedway.

Directions to Finish: Travel Rt 356 South to Freeport. Follow signs for Freeport.
Turn right onto Second Street, continue straight to Riverside Drive.
Limited on-street parking is available.

in Southeastern Butler County, Pennsylvania.
